M’Other Voices

This project grew out of the M’other Art exhibition for artists who became mothers. It was an opportunity to get back to the artist self. The project offered local people the chance to take part in creative workshops to explore their personal responses.

Khyati Koria-Green went on to created a collaborative artwork that incorporates responses from local people which celebrates and shares the complex identity of motherhood.

 This exhibition was free to visit during usual opening hours 1st March – 28th June 2024. Visitors were able to explore the collective voice of motherhood through responses to phrases like “I am mum and…” or “I am parent and…”
